Ousted princess by Tasha Lewis.
I was humiliated at the end of freshman year. Now all I want to do is focus on my studies and avoid my former friend and love of my life, Sean Courtright. And I was doing just fine on all accounts until my favorite professor asked me for a favor: tutor the boy who shattered my heart.
If the request had come from anyone else, I would have turned him down.
Really good read. I did enjoy it but it was slow in places.  I liked Veronica. Sean grew on me. Looking forward to the next book.  4*.

My review for mummy’s boy by J.A. Andrews. 4*.

Mummy’s boy by J.A. Andrews.
Patricia Mullner is trapped in a nightmare no parent should ever experience. Three years ago, 17-year-old son Andrew vanished without trace. There was no note, no goodbye and no body has ever been found, and now her days are spent in a fog of heartache and alcohol, crying to husband Thomas about their lost boy.
I really enjoyed this book.  Great story. I liked some of the characters. I was surprised.  4*.

The silence by Daisy Pearce.
Stella Wiseman was a child TV star, but there’s nothing glamorous about her life now. Alone in her thirties, she’s lost her parents and her friends and she’s stuck in a dead-end job. But just as she hits rock bottom she meets Marco, a charismatic older man who offers to get her back on her feet. He seems too good to be true.
Good read. Good story. Dark but slow. I didn’t trust Marco. I liked Stella. I liked the ending.  Predictable.  3*.

Can you see her? By S.E. Lynes.
Rachel is afraid she may have done something terrible. She’s sitting in a room, being asked whether she killed someone.
Good read. Good story. Well written. I did find  it slow to begin with. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Rachel. But it did get better and I was surprised near the end. I was sure I knew who it was. I was wrong.  4*.

Bookish princess by C Lesbirel.
Fighting with fists because feelings hurt too much.
Desperate to escape the responsibility that came with her gypsy roots, Bella buries her head in books and does everything she can to hide her true identity.
Hunter was born to fight and win, but fighting for Bella is a losing battle from the very beginning.
A very good read. Slow to begin with.  I didn’t like Addy at all. I loved how Hunter got him. I liked Bella and Harlow. 4*.

My review for risking it all by Stephanie Harte. 4*.

Risking it all by Stephanie Harte.
Gemma has always been there for Nathan. He’s the love of her life and she made a commitment to him, one she’d never consider breaking… until smooth-talking gangster Alfie Watson comes into their lives and changes everything…
A very good  read. Good story. Some good characters although I didn’t like Alfie at all. He was slimy.  I liked Gemma and how she was straight with Alfie. I wasn’t  sure if I liked Nathan. 4*.
