Vaniti at sea by L.K. Brooks-Simpson blog tour and book review.

Vaniti At Sea by L.K. BROOKS-SIMPSON.
IXI PRESS Series Book 2.
I didn’t enjoy this book as much as book 1. But once I got into the story i really enjoyed it. I loved the cover. Gorgeous. I did like learning about Emily and how she came to be. It was different as there were different beings as well as humans.  This was unusual and unique. I did love the whole new different world in the book. I’m really looking forward to the next book. I can’t wait to see what’s waiting in book 3. 5*.

Blurb.
The crater of Plata is located forty thousand feet beneath the oceans surface and is home to one of Earths first sentient species, the Submireneans. The Submireneans never had contact with the Flatlands (the surface) until they seek to recover one of their lost pearls. This pearl would grow up to be Vaniti At Sea. After years under the oceans, Vaniti returns to the Flatlands where she held some of her most treasured memories as a pearl. This is when she reunites with the Di Pinto family and she is given the name Emily Di Pinto.

As the political reach of the ruler of Plata, King Mitus sets sights upon the growing pollution industries on the Flatlands, Vaniti will have to negotiate the duties as Ambassador of the oceans and citizen or Signot, Indiana. Though her wisdom of 3007 years as a pearl tells her that her two worlds will collide, the discovery of the abilities granted by her unusual journey as a pearl may give her the chance to change history as she knows it.
